Hi Hobie Sailors,

The preparations for the Hobie Cat Multi Europeans are in full swing in order to ensure a great-great event. So we still really would like to invite you to join us and the official entry deadline has therefore been extended until 15th of July. The entry lists are already speaking for themselves with sailors from the overseas and almost all over Europe ! J It will be a fantastic opportunity for making new friends and meeting old friends the Hobie way combined with tough and challenging competition.

So far we have about 65 entries for the Hobie 16 open class from Poland, Australia, Argentina, Belgium, Brasilia, Denmark, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Germany and Austria. For the Hobie Tiger and Wildcat class 17 teams have registered from France, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Austria and Germany. The FXone class has 8 registrations from Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Spain and the Netherlands until now. For the HC 14 class will be eleven sailors at the starting line so far. The Dragoon class has 5 entries. To all the teams who have not decided yet…come on …. register now please!!! You will for sure not regret it!

We have other good news for you! The EHCA has on the 4th and 5th of August organized training sessions for the Hobie 16 and the Hobie Wildcat/Tiger classes. Both training sessions will start at about 10 AM.  The training for the Hobie 16 class will be held at YCBb with Marco Iazetta as trainer. The Hobie Wildcat and Tiger training will take place at the UYCNs, which is also the location of the Austrian Championship taking place in the weekend of 6th and 7th of August. The trainer here will be Mischa Heemskerk. The training sessions are free for all paid up members of the EHCA. Non-members have to pay 50 Euro. We believe it is an excellent offer and an outstanding opportunity for top-notch final preparations for the European Championships.

We are looking much forward to see you on the water!

 Have a Hobie day! J

 Cheers Maren
